Our Heritage

Our roots go deep into the tradition of fishing, starting with packing troll-caught salmon in handmade fir tierces for shipment across the globe. This tradition of excellence was carried on and expanded by Cliff Phillips after WWII when he joined the family business. Together, they built the new plant along the Ketchikan waterfront in 1950, marking a new era of growth and commitment to quality.
